NETFILE - Filing deadlines - CRAThe filing deadline is April 30th of the current year, unless the taxpayer is self-employed, in which case the deadline will be June 15th of the current year (however, please note that any balance owing must still be paid by April 30th).
If you have a balance due and you file your return late, you could be penalized and charged interest.
IMPORTANT! The NETFILE program will be open for transmissions on February 20, 2017, until January 19, 2018, for the electronic filing of your 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 personal income tax and benefit return.
NetFile Québec's transmission service is only available for the current tax season from mid-February to mid-January of the following year.
What happens if you miss the NETFILE deadlines?

However, keep in mind that you will have to submit it to the CRA or Revenu Québec by mail after these dates.
