Revenu Québec - Notice of Assessment - Delivery and access options

Your notice of assessment will be delivered:

a) within 14 working days if you file your tax return online; or

b) within four to six weeks if you file your tax return by mail.

Note: Revenu Québec starts processing returns at the beginning of March. Please wait until the beginning of April before contacting them, even if you filed your return in January. If you file your return after March 31st, please wait four weeks before contacting Revenu Québec.

Online notice of assessment

If you file your income tax return online, you can choose to receive your notice of assessment online rather than through the mail, if you meet all the requirements.

If you are registered for "My Account", Revenu Québec will send you an email informing you that a document was deposited for you in the "Messages" section of "My Account". You can also view, where applicable, confirmation of the amount of your accelerated refund:

Copy of your notice of assessment

Regardless of the method you use to file your income tax return, you can obtain a copy of your notices of assessment for the current year and previous years using the "View Notices of Assessment and Confirmations of Accelerated Refunds" online service:
