Canadian children's allowanceThe Canadian government, in order to simplify and consolidate child benefits in force, ensuring that support is better targeted, proposes in its new budget to replace the CCTB and UCCB with a new Canadian Allowance for children.
Therefore, the CCTB and UCCB will be eliminated for months after June 2016.
The new Canadian children's allowance will come into force on 1 July 2016 and your late July payment will be calculated according to the information submitted with your tax return in 2015.
