You can claim a credit for political contributions that corresponds to 75% of the amounts paid in the tax year to a registered Nova Scotia political party or to a registered Nova Scotia independent political candidate seeking election in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.

The annual amount of the credit is the lesser of:

 - 75% of the contributions

To claim the amount in the program, please follow these steps:

1- On the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select "Nova Scotia tax credits".

2- On the page to your right, click on the plus "+" icon to the right of the line "NS 428 line 62100 - Nova Scotia political contributions tax credit".
