Yukon - Political contributionTo claim the amount in the program, please follow these steps:
1- On the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select the heading "Yukon tax credits".
2- On the right-hand side of the screen, click on the plus "+" icon to the right of the line "YT428 line 63850 - Yukon political contributions tax credit".
3- On the new page generated, enter the amount of contributions in the field "Provincial eligible political contributions" and click "Next" at the bottom of the page.
The program will calculate the amount for the Yukon credit, based on your total contributions, and report it to line 63850 of the form YT428 - Yukon credits.
If your total political contributions are more than $1,275, the credit will be $650 (maximum amount). If not, it will be calculated on line 57 of the YT Territorial worksheet from the left side menu, under the "Tax Return" tab.
To consult the territorial worksheet, select the line "YT Territorial worksheet" in the left side menu under the fourth tab "Tax Return".
