Yukon - Amount for fitness and recreation for children Line 63800

You can claim the costs of fitness and recreational activities that you paid for your children during the year up to a maximum of $1000 per child per year.

Only residents of Yukon are eligible for this amount.

The cost of fitness and recreation must be entered in the file of the dependant who incurred the costs. To do this, please follow the steps below:

1- On the "Left side menu of the Interview tab" section of the dependant's file, click on "Fitness and recreation". This item will appear only if the dependant is eligible for this credit.

2. The program will grant by default the refundable credit to the family head on line 63800 of form YT 479.

You must meet the conditions on line 1 of the Yukon form YT 479 that "The child must be under the age of 16 or under age 18 if entitled to the disability amount at the beginning of the year".
