T4A slip - Box 107

You received an amount from a wage-loss replacement plan which was declared on a T4A slip in Box 107 and for resident of Quebec on an RL-1 in Box O with code RN.

You can subtract, from the benefits you received under a wage loss replacement plan, the premiums you paid after 1967 to that plan. The premiums must not have been subtracted from benefits received in a previous year.

Please keep the document confirming that you have paid the premiums.

6. For Quebec residents: If the amount in Box O of the RL-1 differs from the amount shown on the T4A slip, click on the "Maple Leaf" icon of the corresponding box and a new box will be displayed where you can enter the amount for Quebec. This box will only be displayed if you have entered the federal amount first.

The amount of income tax deducted at the federal level appears in Box 022 of the T4A slip and the amount of Quebec income tax withheld at source is displayed in Box J of the RL-2 slip (if applicable).

The amount will be transferred by the program to line 10400 of the federal return and line 107 of the Quebec return, and Code 02 will be entered on Quebec line 106 (if applicable).
