T4A(P) slip - Box 15, CPP or QPP survivor benefitsTo enter the survivor benefits amount from Box 15 of the T4A(P) slip, please follow these steps:
1- On the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select "Interview setup".
2- On the screen on your right, go to the "Pension" group, check the box for "Pension income. Other income and split pension income (T4A, T4A(OAS), T4A(P), T4A-RCA, T4RSP, T4RIF, T1032)" and click "Next" at the bottom of the page.
3- Return to the "Left side menu on the Interview tab" and select the line "Pension income, T4A".
4- On the page to your right, choose the option "T4A(P) - Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits". If you are a Quebec resident, select "T4A(P) - Statement of Quebec Pension Plan Benefits (RL-2)". Enter the amount of survivor benefits received in Box 15, then click "Next" at the bottom of the page.
The program will report this amount on line 11400 of your federal return and, if applicable, on line 119 of your Quebec return.
