Age amount - Federal line 30100The Canada Revenue Agency has made changes to the non-refundable credit on line 30100 "Age Amount."
If your net income on line 23600 is $38,508 or less, the applicable credit will be $7,637. However, if your net income is $89,422 or more, no credit will be allocated to you.
Nevertheless, if your income is between $38,508 and $89,422, the program will calculate the amount based on the worksheet and apply the non-refundable credit to line 30100.
These amounts are indexed annually by the Canada Revenue Agency.
To review the calculation, click on the "Tax Return" tab, and in the left-side column select the line "Worksheet (federal)" and you will notice the change to the non-refundable credit.
