T4 slip - Box 24 - EI insurable earningsPlease enter the amount of insurable earnings for EI (Employment Insurance) according to the amount in box 24 of your T4 slip.
If box 24 of your T4 is blank, do not enter $0.00. Simply leave this field blank. If you enter $0.00, you will indicate to the program that any contribution to EI will be considered an overpayment that will be refunded to you, which is incorrect.
If you leave blank box 24 of your T4, the program will assume that your EI insurable earnings correspond to your income as shown in box 14 of the T4 slip.
