Limit of 20 returns (CRA)UFile 4 for WINDOWS allows you to prepare 4 tax returns. With UFile 12 for WINDOWS, a total of 12 returns can be prepared (both also offer 4 additional returns for modest income taxpayers).
Returns with a total family net income of $20,000 or less can be prepared for free with our online software UFile ONLINE.
Additional returns can be purchased in units of 2 or 4. They are sold online exclusively at the UFile Shop. For both UFile 4 and UFile 12, there is a maximum of 20 returns that can be prepared. Please keep this limit in mind when purchasing additional returns.

The CRA has determined that a limit of 20 returns, whether printed or filed using NETFILE, is appropriate and sufficient for a NETFILE software product. This will allow even a large family to share one software product to prepare and file their tax returns.
