Submiting your tax return by mail to the CRA - 2014 and prior tax years

Before printing your tax return, please do the following:

1. Open your tax return in UFile.
2. Click on the "Interview" tab.
3. In the "QuikClik Navigator", located on the left-hand side of the screen, click on "NetFile".
4. Then, on the right-hand side, for the question "Will you be using NetFile to submit your federal return electronically?", choose  "No, I will mail it", and click "Next" at the bottom of the page.
5. Click on the "Results" tab to recalculate your tax return.

We suggest that you save the tax return to your computer as a PDF file, then print it.

Save the return as a PDF file

1. Go to the "Tax Return" tab (if it is inactive, click the "Results" tab to calculate).
2. Select "File" from the menu.
3. Select "Save tax return as PDF file".
4. Select the person to print.
5. For "Select pages to save", choose "Federal tax return only".
6. Click the "Save to PDF" button.

NOTE: The option "Federal tax return only" will only print the pages required for filing to the CRA.

Print the PDF file

1. Open the PDF file in Adobe Reader or a similar program.
2. Select "File" from the menu.
3. Select "Print".

IMPORTANT: Please read the "Assembly instructions" section of your tax return to know which forms you should submit to the CRA, the order in which they should be assembled, and which forms need to be signed and by whom (e.g. yourself, your spouse or common-law partner, your doctor, etc.).
