I bought a second copy of UFile for Windows, yet I am not able to install it. Why?If you have already installed UFile for Windows on your computer, it will not be possible for you to install a second copy of UFile for Windows on that same computer. What you need to do instead is add the activation key from the second software to the first installation.
Please follow the instructions below to install your activation key in order to add returns to UFile's counter:
1- Start UFile.
2- Go to "settings" menu, and select "Tax return counter..."
3- Click on the "Add extra returns" button.
4- Enter your activation key, and then click "OK".
5- You should see the number of tax returns in your counter increase accordingly.
NOTE: Do not exceed 20 returns (per computer). If you do, you will still be limited to a maximum of 20 returns because of CRA restrictions on the number of returns that can be filed using a personal tax software.
