How do I backup my copy of UFile for Windows?Our program does not include an automated backup feature. We ask that you save your data files (files which end with the extension uXX, where "XX" represents the last two digits of the fiscal year (e.g., U19 for a file pertaining to tax year 2019)) to an external drive, a USB flash drive, a CD or DVD.
As for your program, it is very important to keep your CD and activation code in a safe place as you will need both of these if you need to reinstall the program sometime in the future.
If you have lost your UFile for Windows CD, we can provide you with a download link for that tax year's program. Unfortunately, we cannot mail you another CD.
If you have lost your activation code and you have previously registered your copy of UFile for Windows, we can attempt to regenerate your activation code. If your email address has changed please provide us with your old email address.
