Language packs use different character encoding that the software and the CRA do not recognize. You must change the language of you PC to "English (Canada)" as current language for "non-Unicode" programs.
According to your operating system, please follow these instructions:
Windows 10:
1. Open the Start screen and press Windows + C to view the charms, then press "Settings". In the "Control Panel", click on "Clock, Language, and Region". Select "Region" and go to "Administrative" tab. Click on "Change system locale" and select "English (Canada)" as current language for non-Unicode programs.
Windows 8 or 8.1:
1. Open the Start screen and press Windows + C to view the charms, then press "Settings". In the "Control Panel", click on "Clock, Language, and Region". Click "Language" and select "English (Canada)" as current language for non-Unicode programs.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista:
Click on "Start", then on "Control Panel" and choose "Regional and Language Options". Click on the "Administrative" tab, then on "Change system locale" and select "English (Canada)" as current language for non-Unicode programs.
Windows XP:
Please click on "Start", then on "Control Panel" and choose "Regional and Language Options". Click on "Advanced" tab, and select "English (Canada)" as current language for non-Unicode programs.
