Free returns for low-income individuals

When you buy UFile 4, as with UFile 12, you will be able to produce four free (4) returns for individuals earning $25,000 or less.

In UFile for Windows, a tax return is added to the program's counter when you either print it, submit it via NETFILE or save it in PDF format for the first time.

Moreover, if you change a person's SIN or date of birth on a return that was already added to the counter, this return will be also added to the counter of  the software when you will view or submit it via NETFILE.

Please note that for our UFile for Windows suite of products, each tax return will be added to the counter, regardless of  the income.

If you want to add additional returns up to a maximum of 20 returns including the free ones, please click on the following link

The CRA has determined that a limit of 20 returns, whether printed or filed using NETFILE, is appropriate and sufficient for a NETFILE software product. This will allow even a large family to share one software product to prepare and file their tax returns. The CRA has asked that all software developers respect this limit to be certified for NETFILE. You will find information on the maximum number of returns that can be produced at the bottom of the page.
