Do you have a balance owing?

If you have a balance owing, you can make your payment in many different ways. You may be able to pay electronically through your financial institution's online or telephone banking services. My Payment is a payment option that allows individuals and businesses to make payments online, using the Canada Revenue Agency's (CRA) Web site, from an account at a participating Canadian financial institution. For more information, go to www.cra.gc.ca/mypayment.

If you want to mail your payment to the CRA, send a cheque or money order payable to the Receiver General with a CRA remittance voucher or write your account number on the front of your cheque. For more information on how to make your payment, go to www.cra.gc.ca/payments. If you remit your payment late, any balance due may be subject to penalties and interest at the prescribed rate.

If you don't have a remittance voucher, you can attach a note to your cheque or money order indicating your social insurance number or business number and provide payment instructions on how you want us to apply your payment.
