Resource-Prop

Use the keyword Resource-Prop to indicate whether there was an actual or deemed dispostion of resource property.

On specified dates during the life or existence of a trust, it is deemed to have disposed of its resource property. The resulting income, gains or losses must be reported on the trust's return in the taxation year in which the disposition is considered to have occurred.

The following options are applicable for the keyword Resource-Prop.

  • Deemed realization

Date-Disp.r date of dispostion of resource property

Secondary keywordResource-Inc

Use the keyword Resource-Inc to enter the amount of income derived from resource property.

Secondary keywordResource-Ded

Use the keyword Resource-Ded to enter the amount to be deducted from the resource property income.

Land-Inventory

Use the keyword Land-Inventory to record the deemed disposition of land held in inventory.

The following options are applicable for the keyword Land-Inventory.

  • Deemed realization

Secondary keywordDate-DeemDisp

Use the keyword Date-DeemDisp to enter the date the trust is deemed to have disposed of its land inventory.

Secondary keywordDeemed-Amount  ALT-J 

If a deemed disposition occurs, the trust is considered to have disposed of its land inventory at the fair market value (FMV) at the end of the deemed disposition day.

Use the keyword Deemed-Amount to enter the FMV of the land held in inventory. Use [Alt-J] to enter different values for other jurisdictions.
