NETFILE - Direct deposit and refund status
If you have used direct deposit with the CRA in the past, your refund will be directly deposited into your bank account.
Otherwise, you will receive a cheque by mail along with your notice of assessment. You can contact the CRA to find out the status of your refund by going to:
When you transmit your return via NETFILE you are not required to mail your receipts. Please keep them in your record in case the CRA asks for them in the future.
