Business number

You need a valid business number (BN) RZ 15-character program account number to file the T2202 certificate and summary. If you do not have a BN or BN RZ program account number, go to Business number registration or you can call 1-800-959-5525.

Electronic filing

You will only be able to file the T2202 certificate and summary by Internet.

As a designated educational institution, you have to file your T2202 information return on or before the last day of February following the calendar year that the information return applies to. If the due date falls on a Saturday, a Sunday or a holiday recognized by the CRA, your return is due the next business day.

Enter the four digits of the calendar year to which the information return relates.

Enter the total number of information return certificates filed with this information return summary.

Original = O

Amendment = A

An amended return cannot contain original slips.
