• CO-502-V - Election in Respect of a Dividend Paid Out of a Capital Dividend Account

Form CO-502 is to be used by a private corporation that, under section 502 of the Taxation Act, makes an election under which a dividend is deemed a capital dividend. It is a statement of the corporation's election.

Mail the copies of the form and the documentation required to Revenu Québec at 3800, Rue de Marly Québec (Québec)  G1X 4A5 by the earlier following dates:

• The day on which the dividend becomes payable by the corporation;

• The first day on which ant portion of the dividend is paid.

Revenu Quebec requires corporations resident in Québec to file the French version of Form CO-502-V only. The English version of the form cannot be submitted.
