Possible issues after importing Relevé 31 recipients using the Recipient Manager into another Relevé 31 file
Current status: Fixed in version 8.1
Problem:
When importing Relevé 31 recipients using the Recipient Manager from one DT FormMax file into another DT FormMax Relevé 31 file, if they are imported into a rental address that contains apartments, and the user forgets to assign any of the imported recipients to an apartment, those recipients will incorrectly use data from the other file.
The following problems could be present in the XML file that is sent to the government:
- The number of tenants at an address is incorrect.
- The apartment number is missing.
- The Internet Filing Number is wrong.
- The total number of Relevé slips listed in the summary section is incorrect.
Solution:
Relevé 31 recipients imported using the Recipient Manager in v8.1 (or later) as described above will now have a diagnostic message present until they are assigned to apartments. These diagnostic messages will prevent electronic transmission until they are resolved. For already imported recipients, the user will need to manually verify that all such recipients are assigned to apartments.
