Select when you want DT Max to save the T5008 slips to a CSV file.

DT Max will save the T5008 slip data to an external CSV file and include a link to that file in a keyword in the T1-Autofill keyword group. This file can be opened using any spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets). You can simply enter the total amounts that you have calculated using this spreadsheet in DT Max.

The options available are:

  • When necessary: DT Max will only save the T5008 slips to a CSV file when the size of the Auto-fill my return data exceeds DT Max's storage capacity. DT Max will display the T5008 slips in T-Slip "T5008" keyword groups in the Right-hand side display ("T-slips from CRA").

  • Always: DT Max will always save T5008 slips to a CSV file (no matter how many slips there are).

  • When > 10 slips: DT Max will save the T5008 slips to a CSV file when there are over 10 T5008 slips.

  • When > 20 slips: DT Max will save the T5008 slips to a CSV file when there are over 20 T5008 slips.

  • When > 50 slips: DT Max will save the T5008 slips to a CSV file when there are over 50 T5008 slips.

Note: If the T5008 slip data is saved to a CSV file, it will not be displayed in T-Slip "T5008" keyword groups.

For full details on the T5008 CSV file, please consult the "Many T5008 slips" section of the Procedure to download tax data from the CRA page in our knowledge base.
