Why is DT Max T3 incorrectly allocating the interest income to beneficiaries?
The program is not allocating to the beneficiaries the interest income coming from the keyword LinkNotes-Interest within the T5 T-Slip group.
As a workaround, within the IncomeSource keyword group, select option "Other investment income" and enter the amount under the keyword Interest , option "Mortgage, note, securities interest".
Note that it is important to remove the keyword LinkNotes-Interest within the T5 T-Slip group so as to not double the amount on the tax return.
