If you have made a withdrawal from your RRSP (registered retirement savings plan) for purposes of a LLP (lifelong learning plan), the program will indicate 2025 as the year of the withdrawal.
The following options are applicable for the keyword RRSP-LLP.
Enter the total amount of withdrawals made from your RRSP (registered retirement savings plan) for purposes of a LLP (lifelong learning plan).
Enter the LLP balance to repay.
Enter the spousal LLP balance to repay (if LLP election).
This is the portion of the amount contributed to your RRSP (registered retirement savings plan) which is designated as repayment of your LLP (lifelong learning plan) for the current year.
From your Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) - Statement of account, enter the amount that you are required to pay for 2025.
LLP repayable balance - the amount required to contribute to your RRSPs or PRPPs and designate as a repayment. This new element usually occurs during the first year of the LLP where a customer only reimburses part of the LLP but the rules of the LLP provide for a grace year, so when a customer begins the reimbursement, the government lets him know that a portion has been paid.
