The amount you can claim on line 58360 is the amount on line 31400 of your return or $1,173, whichever is less.
Note
Only residents of Nova Scotia are eligible for this amount.
If you were not a resident of Nova Scotia at the end of the year, you cannot claim this tax credit when calculating your Nova Scotia tax even if you may have received income from a source in Nova Scotia in 2024.
