| The login screen is where you select the basic parameters of the session you are about to begin. | ||

Select the T1 program, a language of use,
and a tax year. Enter your username. Typically, it should consist of your initials unless your supervisor has assigned you a different ID. DT Max will not recognize your username the first time you enter it. Simply answer Yes when asked if you wish to create a new username. Note that personal passwords may be mandatory for the database you selected. |

Enter the desired database manually, or locate it with the Browse button. For future sessions, each database previously used will be available for you to select. |
| The next time you run DT Max, this screen will remember the options selected the previous time. You may change these settings to suit your needs simply by making different selections. | ||
