The amount you can claim on line 58360 is the amount on line 31400 of your return or $1,714, whichever is less.
Note
Only residents of Ontario are eligible for this amount. If
you were not a resident of Ontario at the end of the year,
you cannot claim this tax credit when calculating your
Ontario tax even if you may have received income from
a source in Ontario in 2024.
