What's new in DT FormMax version 3.0?

1. Version highlights

a) Filing slips through the Internet Filing option

Starting with version 3.0, DT FormMax will allow users to electronically transmit federal and Quebec tax slips through its Internet Filing option. The following Federal slips can currently be filed electronically with DT FormMax: NR4, T4, T4A, T4A-NR, T5, and T5018, as well as the following Quebec slips: RL-1, RL-2, RL-3, RL-11, RL-17, RL-24, and RL-25. To find more details on this new DT FormMax feature, you may refer to the Internet Filing Option section in the DT FormMax Knowledge base.

Please note that filers who submit more than 50 information returns of one information return type are required to file electronically using the Internet. Please also note that any transmission of Federal or provincial slips should only be performed for 2011. The transmission of 2012 slips will be available in a subsequent version.

b) System changes: Form Viewer Manager and Refresh button

The Form Viewer Manager is a new feature added to DT FormMax that allows users to view and print blank forms. You can access the Form Viewer Manager by clicking on the Forms menu and selecting the option View blank forms.

Also new to DT FormMax, a Refresh button     has been added to the toolbar, allowing the users to recalculate all forms in the current file.

N.
