NETFILE - Restrictions
UFile and NETFILE are two different services. UFile is a
software designed to help you prepare your return, whereas NETFILE
is a government service that allows you to send your tax return
electronically.
If the program diagnostics page state that you are ineligible
for NETFILE, please verify your tax return for possible errors
and fix them.
If you do not have any error, we suggest you review the NETFILE
restrictions on the following government websites:
CRA:
http://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/netfile-overview.html
Revenu Québec:
http://www.revenuquebec.ca/en/citizens/income-tax-return/filing-your-income-tax-return/filing-your-income-tax-return-online/
Even though you may not be able to transmit via NETFILE, you can
still print and mail your return. All forms in UFile are
certified by the CRA and RQ. There is no reason to return to the
old paper and pencil method.
