RL-3 slip - T5 slip - Investment income
To enter amounts from the RL-3, you must use the program's entry
page for the T5 slip, which is the federal equivalent to the RL-3
in Québec. To do so, please follow these steps:
1- On the left side menu of the " Interview "
tab, select "Interest, investment income and carrying
charges".
2- On the screen to your right-hand side, go to the "Income from
a T-slip" group and click on the plus "+" icon to the
right of the line "T5 - Investment
income (RL-3)".
3- On the page that is displayed, enter the relevant
information.
Keep in mind that most of the amounts on the RL-3 match those of
the T5, with the only exception being dividend income, for which
the program will provide you specific entry fields.
