Provincial or territorial COVID-19 financial
assistance payments
If you have received program amounts for the "Provincial or
Territorial COVID-19 financial assistance payments", this
amount will be listed on the T4A slip in box
200.
1 - To enter this amount, go to the "Left side menu of the
Interview tab", select the "Interview setup"
section.
2 - On the screen to your right, go to the "Pension"
group, check the box "Pension income, income from other sources
and pension income splitting (T4A, T4A(OAS), T4A(P), T4A-RCA,
T4RSP, T4RIF, T1032)" and click "Next" at the bottom of
the page.
3 - Go back to the "Left side menu on the Interview
tab" and select the "T4A and Pension Income" section and
on the page on the right, click on the sign
plus "+" icon located to the right of the
line "T4A - Pension, Retirement, Annuity and Other Sources
Income".
4 - On the page that appears, go to the line "Other
information (click the triangle to unroll the list of choices)"
in the drop-down menu to your right, choose "(200) Provincial or
Territorial COVID-19 financial assistance payments" and enter
the amount that is listed on your T4A slip.
This amount will be carried forward to line 13000 of the
federal return.
