Charitable donations - T4 slip - Box 46
If you contributed to a charity through your employer, the
amount will be shown in box 46 of your
T4 slip.
Enter this amount from box 46 of the T4 in the appropriate
"T4 and employment income" page of the "Left
side menu on the Interview tab".
It is very important not to re-enter the amount
in box 46 in the section "Donations/political
contributions", because you could inadvertently double
your amount.
The amount of the credit will be
calculated in Schedule 9 of the federal return and will be
reported on line 34900. For Quebec residents, the amount of
the credit will be calculated in Schedule V and will be
reported on line 395 of the provincial return.
