Submiting your tax return by mail to the CRA (2012
and prior years)
Before printing your tax return, please do the following:
1. Log in to UFile ONLINE.
2. Click on the "Interview" tab.
3. In the "QuikClik Navigator", located on the
left-hand side of the screen, click on
"NetFile"section.
4. Then, on the right-hand side, for the question "Will you
be using NetFile to submit your federal return
electronically?", choose "No, I will mail
it", and click "Next" at the bottom of
the page.
5. Click on the "Results" tab to recalculate your
tax return.
We suggest that you save the tax return to your computer as a
PDF file, then print the pages that you need.
1. Click on "Tax return" tab.
2. Right-click on "Print or view complete tax return .pdf
file".
3. In the small grey box that pops up, select "Save Link
As..." or "Save Target As..." (depending
on your browser).
4. Save the file to your Desktop (easiest to remember).
NOTE: If you cannot view the "Desktop" icon (on
the left-hand side of the window), please click on the
"Browse Folders" button, then click on the
"Desktop" icon. Click the "Save"
button.
5. Open the PDF file from your Desktop and print the pages that
you need.
IMPORTANT: Please read the "Assembly
instructions" section of your tax return to know which
forms you should submit to the CRA, the order in which they should
be assembled, and which forms need to be signed and by whom (e.g.
yourself, your spouse or common-law partner, your doctor,
etc.).
You can mail a paper tax return to one of the following CRA Tax
Centres:
