T1014 - BC Training tax credit (Individuals)
Complete this form to calculate your British Columbia training
tax credit. You can claim this credit if you were a resident of
British Columbia at the end of the year and you completed your
training as part of an eligible program administered through the
British Columbia Industry Training Authority in the tax year.
Eligible programs and completion requirements are defined by
regulation. Information is available on the British Columbia
website at:

To claim the refundable tax credit, follow the steps below:
1. On the "Left side menu of the Interview tab", select
the "British Columbia tax and credits".
2. On the screen to your right, scroll down to "BC479"
group and click on the plus "+" icon
to the right of the line "Line 60550 - British Columbia
training tax credit for individual (T1014)".
3. On the page that appears, check the box corresponding to the
level you completed during the tax year.
The credit is calculated based on the level you have
completed.
The program will generate the T1014 form and carry over the
refundable credit on the line 60550 of the
form BC479.
The refundable credit will be carried over to line 47900
of the federal return.
