Manitoba - Day Camp Fees - Daycare Expenses -
Children's Activity Expenses
Your child has spent time in a day camp for which you received a
eceipt for childcare expenses and another receipt from the same
camp for the child's activities.
However, if you have a single receipt, please ask the issuer of
the document what portion pertains to the daycare fees, and which
is the one respecting the day camp fees.
1. On the child's file, enter the childcare expenses under the
heading "Childcare" and in the right-hand page
click on
the plus sign "+" icon
located to the right of the "Daycare (includes day
camp)".
2. In the page that appears, enter the amount of childcare
expenses for the child and provide the name and address of the
childcare centre.
3. Then, on the "Left-side menu of the Interview
tab», choose one of the following topics. Either the
heading "Fitness and recreation" or
"Children's arts amount.? Enter the relevant
information on each topic.
4. The credit for "Sports and Recreational Activities
for Children" may be claimed by one of the spouses. To
indicate who claims this credit, go to the head of the family's
file.
5. Under the heading "Manitoba Tax Credits", on
the page to your right, in the "Manitoba Tax
Credits" group, click on
the plus sign "+"
icon located on the right of the line. "Assigning Manitoba
credits to one spouse or the other".
6. In the page that appears, on the line "Who should
receive the Manitoba credits?" in the menu on the right,
choose the person.
The credit will be reported by the program on line
58325 "Amount for physical condition" and
on line 58326 "Amount for children's artistic
activities" of the selected spouse's Form MB
428.
